Carla Bennett is known in the legal community as an experienced trial attorney. She has over 30 years of experience in handling an extensive broad array of cases. Her expertise lies in analyzing and developing various types of litigation matters to a successful conclusion with the use of persuasion, negotiation techniques and if necessary trial. She has handled a wide variety of cases, including trucking litigation, complex commercial business litigation, tort litigation, mass tort litigation, contractual liability litigation, and maritime cases.

Prepared more than 60 briefs to the Texas Court of Appeals, Writs of Mandamus, Application of Writ of Error to the Texas Supreme Court, and Responses to Petitions for Writs of Certiorari to the United States Supreme Court. Argued orally to the Texas Court of Appeals and the Fifth Circuit; Reviewed statements of facts and transcripts of numerous trails and prepared proposed opinions as a briefing attorney for the First Court of Appeals.
