An esteemed Houston physician who specializes in cardiac and thoracic surgery has filed a lawsuit against his former employer, Memorial Hermann Health System. At the heart of the civil complaint, he claims that the hospital engaged in defamation and restraint of trade while conducting a smear campaign after he left for a rival medical center.
